The Cherrydale Citizens Association is the local group representing Cherrydale residents and businesses with the county.
The association keeps local residents informed of happenings and other social events via its website and quarterly newsletter, the Sweet & Sour News.
Social events the association organizes yearly include include:
- an annual Spaghetti Fundraiser Dinner in March;
- yard sales each June;
- a July fourth barbeque and fireworks party (with a monument view from N. Stafford and N. 21st streets);
- and the annual Cherrydale parade.
