Clarendon-Barton Pop Up Park
Though this interim park is situated more in the Courthouse neighborhood than Clarendon, it’s still just near enough to make this list.
This pop-up park provides:

- multiuse recreational area for outdoor games (including bocce)
In sum, the Clarendon-Barton Interim Park offers residents a wonderful green space and natural respite from surrounding and bustling urban environment.
Clarendon Central Park
This one-acre park, also known as “Clarendon’s “central square,” stretches from the Clarendon Metro to the intersection of Washington, Wilson and Clarendon Boulevards.
The park’s features include:
- covered bike parking
- bike repair station,
- café tables and benches
- a fountain
- … and a War Memorial.

James Hunter Dog Park
A roughly half-acred, fenced dog park that features:
- a deep fine gravel play area
- a waterfall
- a small splash pond
- drinking water spigots for our four-legged friends
