The 43rd annual Virginia Wine Festival is coming to Arlington on October 13 and 14. There will be tastings of more than 200 wines from Virginia plus dozens of ciders at Rosslyn’s Gateway Park, 1300 Lee Highway, Arlington, VA., from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
There will also be a wide range of foods available, including a Virginia oyster pavilion, and live music.
I don’t know about you, but I love wine and the opportunity to sample a variety of wines. With some 280 wineries, Virginia is considered one of the East Coast’s best wine-producing states.
Tickets are $40 in advance and $55 day-of and include unlimited wine and cider tastings. VIP tickets ($65 in advance; $95 day-of) provide one-hour early entry, a private tent and bathrooms.
Besides the oyster pavilion with freshly shucked oysters and oyster dishes, there will be a variety of food vendors and food trucks including DC Taco Truck, Red Hook Lobster Pound, Smoke N The City and more.
Hope to see you at the Virginia Wine Festival in Rosslyn!
